Engaging a loyal fanbase…
Tigers had been running paid social for a short while in-house without yielding scalable results.
We were given the task of managing some flagship campaigns around season, half-season & matchday tickets, as well as some of the general club merchandise.
Historically, the club’s legacy community was engaged online via organic social and email; paid social offered a scalable way to re-engage their existing fanbase, as well as reaching new prospective followers.
Selling with lead magnets
Despite being a well-established, and much loved brand, the Tiger’s account offered very limited historical data to work from. Therefore, we focused heavily on engaging their sizable existing fanbase to drive sales.
To achieve our objectives, we launched lead magnet campaigns in the form of hospitality tickets & merchandise giveaways. Offering free entries into these giveaways proved an effective way to engage fans, over halving CPM in just 10 weeks, and generating hundreds of additional sales for the club shop.
